Vintage Black Genuine Alligator Crossbody Organizer Bag - Made in Thailand
Gorgeous vintage black alligator / crocodile skin crossbody from the 1970s-1980s. This is the popular multi-compartment organizer wallet style that works as a clutch or a crossbody.
I have included macro photos of the stamp - it is worn but reads:
[Crocodile Logo] GENUINE ALLIGATOR - MADE IN THAILAND
There is a second smaller crocodile stamp inside the flap near the magnetic snap - see photo.
Why I believe it is genuine:
The scales are irregular with natural texture and pore variation, not a stamped cowhide emboss. It has the glossy glazed finish and belly scale pattern typical of genuine Thai alligator. Sold as vintage, please judge from photos.

• Exterior: Black glazed alligator/crocodile skin, structured clutch style
• Interior: Black leather, clean
• Compartments: Numerous! Main zip accordion compartment, 2 slip pockets, interior zip pocket - holds phone, cards, lipstick perfectly
• Closure: Gold-tone magnetic snap flap + interior zipper
• Strap: Original thin black leather crossbody strap, approx 40" long total (approx 20" drop), attached with double snap buttons, removable to wear as clutch
• Size 10.5" Wide x 5" High x 1.5" Deep
Condition: Good vintage. Light crazing to glaze and light edge wear at corners consistent with age, leather still soft and supple, zippers work great, interior clean. See all photos.
