Vintage 1940s Art Deco Controlled Bubble Glass Boudoir Lamp

It's not Murano but it's the American Art Deco "Torpedo" / "Skyscraper" version collectors look for. Heavy solid glass sphere with vertical lines of controlled air bubbles (bullicante / pulegoso technique), chrome ribbed column, push-through switch socket. The same style was made as vanity / boudoir / bedside lamps. Base is frosted for stability.

Features: • Large solid crystal ball base with perfectly aligned vertical rows of controlled air bubbles • Tall fluted chrome column in classic Skyscraper / Torpedo form • Original turn-key socket with vented base • Frosted bottom, no maker mark - American made, similar to high-end Murano Bullicante style • Heavy! Quality made piece. Condition: Excellent vintage condition for age. Glass sphere has no chips, cracks, or major scratches - bubbles intact and sparkling. Chrome shows light surface wear / patina consistent with age, no dents. Socket shows tarnish. Wiring is original and appears intact but has not been tested long-term. Sold AS-IS - for safety, recommend rewiring by buyer or lamp shop.
