Plumb Crazy Vintage is run by me, Joan Plumb. I've always loved the thrill of the hunt — the estate sale early mornings, the tucked-away antique malls, the joy of spotting something special that deserves a second life. I collect vintage, antique, and delightfully unique pieces that have character and make me smile. Every piece in the shop is chosen by hand and ready for a new home. I pack with care and ship the first business day after purchase. Your purchase helps fund my local food bank.
Pair of vintage hand-carved Olive Wood candlesticks from Jerusalem / Bethlehem, Holy Land.
Beautiful matched set with intricate open spiral twist stems — the signature Bethlehem carving. Each one is turned and then hand-cut to create that airy double-helix. The wood shows gorgeous natural grain — honey gold with dark feathered streaks and burl, finished with glossy lacquer.
Perfect for Shabbat candles, altar, mantel, bookshelf, or boho farmhouse decor. These hold standard taper candles.
Measurements:
• Height: Approx. 8" - 8.5" tall (see ruler photo)
• Base: ∼3" diameter
• Opening: Fits approx. 7/8" taper
Condition: Very good vintage. Solid, no cracks, chips, or wobble. Light vintage wear to lacquer. See close-ups — the grain is even better in person.
You will receive the exact pair in the photos. Each olive wood piece is unique due to natural grain.
Handmade by Christian artisans in Bethlehem from pruned olive branches — sustainable harvest, olive trees are protected in Israel.
