Vintage Homer Laughlin China Co. "Historical America" Plate - The First Tone From The Liberty Bell 1753 - Red Transferware - 7.25"
Classic Americana collector plate from Homer Laughlin's popular Historical America series produced from the late 1930s-1950s.
Central transfer shows colonists and family gathered around the newly cast Liberty Bell in the foundry. Surrounded by a wide band of large roses and foliage with a beaded inner and gadroon outer rim.

• 7.25" diameter dessert / bread & butter size - this is the small size, not the 10" dinner
• Glossy glaze, light crazing consistent with age
• Red transfer on ivory / cream ground
• Backstamp: "HISTORICAL AMERICA / THE FIRST TONE FROM THE LIBERTY BELL....1753 / HOMER LAUGHLIN CHINA Co. / MADE IN U.S.A."
Condition: Good vintage. No chips, cracks, or repairs. Light utensil marks and age crazing. See photos. The close-ups show the transfer is crisp.
