Gorgeous Hollywood Regency vanity tray featuring 5 long-tail birds among scrolling flowers and vines, all in raised embossed gold on a brushed silver guilloche background. Ornate pierced filigree gallery rim with leaf and flower motif. Beveled glass top protects the embossed design - has beautiful light reflection. Backed with original burgundy / plum velvet.
Perfect as a perfume tray, jewelry tray, dresser tray, or boudoir decor. Very glamorous and feminine.
Condition Notes from photos:
Very good vintage condition. Metal embossing is bright and crisp - no dents. Filigree rim intact with no breaks. Glass top intact - no chips or cracks, some light surface scratches consistent with age. Velvet back shows age with some dust / light spotting and a couple small worn spots (see last photo).
