Vintage 1983 Virginia Metalcrafters solid brass bookends in the architectural Monticello pattern. These heavy, high-quality brass bookends feature an elegant fretwork design inspired by Thomas Jefferson's estate. Each piece is hallmarked with the Virginia Metalcrafters logo, the year 1983, and the Monticello name on the base. Good vintage condition with a natural aged patina and some surface tarnish consistent with age. This set is a beautiful addition to a traditional study or library. Solid brass construction provides excellent weight for holding books.
