Hi, welcome to Redemption Road. I’m Kristen, and I don’t like to waste my money on cheaply made products that everyone else has. I love to use unique and quality vintage and antique items to tell a story in my home. My true passion is to take the unloved quality items and update them with a current twist, either by artistically creating a new look for them, or reimagining their purpose in life. Come on in, and see if I can help you tell your story.
This is a hand-blown glass ornament, similar in style to art glass pieces from studios like Jordan Valley Glassworks. It can also be used as friendship ball, a symbolic ornamental token traditionally exchanged to honor deep personal bonds. The ornament features a swirling pattern of black, amber, gold and blue-gray colors, creating an organic, stone-like aesthetic similar to natural Jasper spheres. These artisan glass balls are created by rolling molten glass in colored granules to produce unique patterns.
