Talavera pottery is a type of majolica earthenware, a tin-glazed ceramic, that is produced in Puebla and other parts of Mexico. The pottery is known for its intricate designs and vibrant colors. Pedro Tecayehuatl is a recognized artisan who creates various Talavera pieces, including plates, vases, and other dinnerware. The plates are handcrafted and hand-painted, often with lead-free mineral pigments.
