Cute Texas pottery pitcher from the country goose era! Beige salt-glazed stoneware with two hand-painted navy blue stripes, decorated with a pair of white geese wearing a blue polka-dot ribbon, holding a red heart that says LOVE, with tiny blue flowers and green grass.
• Authentic B STORIE POTTERY MARSHALL TEX stamped on bottom (Betty / Paul Storie family pottery)
• Heavy stoneware - great as water pitcher, utensil crock, vase for dried flowers
• Hand-painted details - not a decal
• Glossy glazed inside and out, with potter's throw lines inside
• Approx 6.5" tall
CONDITION - PLEASE READ:
Good vintage condition overall. Displays well. There is a small glaze chip on the rim near the spout - about 1/2" wide - you can see it in photo 1 and close-up photo 4. Some light crazing and dark speckles from the stoneware, and a little wear to the paint on the geese. No cracks.
Sold as-is with chip noted and priced accordingly. Perfect for farmhouse display, grandmacore / cottagecore kitchen.
