Plumb Crazy Vintage is run by me, Joan Plumb. I've always loved the thrill of the hunt — the estate sale early mornings, the tucked-away antique malls, the joy of spotting something special that deserves a second life. I collect vintage, antique, and delightfully unique pieces that have character and make me smile. Every piece in the shop is chosen by hand and ready for a new home. I pack with care and ship the first business day after purchase. Your purchase helps fund my local food bank.
Antique Victorian Ornate Cast Iron Wall Mount Letter Clip Paper Clamp - Fleur De Lis
Beautiful antique Victorian wall-mounted paper clamp from the 1880s. Heavy solid cast iron with gorgeous Eastlake ornate relief on front - fleur-de-lis at top, foliate cross in center, and palmette fan at bottom.
This was made to screw directly to the wall or desk hutch. It has a mounting hole on the back plate (screw not included). Squeeze the top and the bottom jaw opens to securely clamp letters, bills, receipts, paperwork, recipes, photos, notes, to-do lists, and more. Still works great!
Perfect for Victorian, farmhouse, or French Country decor, office, kitchen, or entryway.
Details:
• Measures approx. 4.25" long as shown with ruler
• Ornamental cast iron, dark patinated finish
• Spring mechanism works - nice and tight
• Back side shows rivet pivot and circular wall-mount hole
Lovely small piece of functional antique office history. From a private collection in Washington State.
Condition: Antique used - original finish with expected age wear. Please see all photos - they are part of the description.
