MA-based collector with French roots and a love of early 20th-century décor. Inspired by New England antiques and a life among flowers and gathered objects, I share glassware, ceramics, and metal pieces with timeless character.
Silver plated tea strainer and drip bowl set, crafted circa 1880–1890 by the short-lived Benedict, Hatch & Goddard Co. of New York (marked B H G). The perforated strainer bowl rests on its matching swivel undertray, with turned ebonized wooden handle. The underside is marked “B H G” for Benedict, Hatch & Goddard operated only briefly (c. 1878–1890), making surviving examples exceptionally uncommon.
