Elevate your afternoon tea or antique porcelain display with this exceptionally preserved Edwardian treasure!
This is a premium antique fine porcelain double-handled cake plate/serving platter produced by Erdmann Schlegelmilch (ES) in the historic Thuringia region of Germany. Dated securely between 1902 and 1914 based on the crisp green underglaze "Prov Saxe" crown and shield backstamp, this piece features a gently scalloped rim and two integrated open tab handles.
The face is decorated with a vibrant central bouquet of blooming pink and soft yellow cabbage roses, effortlessly framed by delicate green leaf garlands and matching draped floral swags sweeping around the outer perimeter.
Condition: Remarkable, museum-quality antique condition! For a porcelain piece that is well over a century old, it has survived beautifully. There are absolutely NO chips, cracks, hairline fractures, or flea bites. The glaze is completely free of any age crazing. The colorful floral transfer design is exceptionally bright, vivid, and showing no signs of fading.
