The 'Vicennes' pattern, characterized by its delicate pink transferware landscape and embossed borders, evokes a romantic, pastoral aesthetic popular in the late 19th and early 20th centuries. Wear on gold rim in one area and normal crazing for an antique Limoges piece. The item has the authentic Bernardaud backstamp, which helps verify authenticity and age (pieces marked "France" date to no later than 1893).
