I enjoy antiques and vintage items, knowing they have a history. I love decorating my own space with these items as well as passing them on to others who have the same passion in older items. Come browse my shop and enjoy!
This is a hand-painted porcelain fruit pitcher featuring hand-painted apple motifs and gilded trim.
The red circular stamp on the bottom reads "Handpainted - W.A. Pickard - China". This specific decal is known as Pickard Mark #5, which was used by the renowned Pickard Studios in Chicago, Illinois between 1905 and 1912. The green underglaze mark with the two clovers and the initials J&C with a T belongs to Jaeger & Co., a highly regarded porcelain manufacturer from the Bavaria region of Germany.
