PAIR OF 2 VINTAGE INDUSTRIAL WOODEN BOBBIN FINIALS - SMALL TURNED SPOOL ENDS - 3 INCH

Wonderful matched pair of authentic vintage textile bobbin finials - the turned wood end caps from large industrial mill bobbins. Also called spool tips, spool ends, or bobbin tips.

These are solid turned wood with a great primitive shape - bulbous vase / teardrop body with a small foot on the bottom and a cup / hollow top. The bottom of each has the original 6 small rectangular pegs that locked into the bobbin shaft (see close-up photos). Top has a deep hollow center hole.

Perfect for so many uses now:
