This plate was manufactured by the Warwick China Company, which operated in Wheeling, West Virginia from 1887 to 1951. Warwick China Co. was famous for producing high-grade vitrified china meant to compete in quality with elite European imports like French Limoges.
This specific arched, simple text stamp—reading "WARWICK CHINA" without additional symbols like helmets, swords, or the "IOGA" line labels—was commonly used on their fine semi-porcelain dinnerware and decorative lines from approximately 1893 to the early 1910s.
