Classic mid-century style wine decanter for serving and aerating red wine.

Details:

• Form: Wide balloon / ship's decanter shape with narrow neck and flared cup to hold cork - This is the classic shape that allows wine to breathe gently and pour beautifully - capacious glass bowl allowing it to breathe

• Dimensions: Approx 10.5" tall with cork ball, 9" tall without cork / 7" diameter at widest belly / 5" diameter silver base / Base is 5.5" wide - See ruler photos - similar to standard 10 inches tall, 5.5 inches wide vintage models and 9" tall without cork, 10" tall with cork, 5.25" diameter

• Materials: Clear hand-blown glass body, silver-plated pedestal base and funnel liner, large natural pressed cork ball stopper (approx 2.25" diameter)

Condition: Good vintage used condition. Glass has no chips or cracks - has light surface scratches and tiny air bubbles from hand-blowing (normal). Some faint scuff lines near base from storage - see close-up photo. Silver base has tarnish, light scratches and age patina - needs polishing. Cork ball is solid with natural cork pitting / texture - does its job, not crumbling.
