This amazing serving platter made by Rosenthal was part of a hotel collection. Rosenthal while a premier dinner service company is also known for providing high-quality porcelain, glass, and cutlery the finest hotels and catering establishments worldwide, including the Ritz Carlton. The "E. Weber & Co. Düsseldorf 12 Hotel-Ausstattungen" text indicates that this plate was part of a set supplied to a hotel by the company E. Weber & Co. The platter is white with a red band and silver decorations. This piece is from the 1950s or before and shows some fading along the band. It is in otherwise amazing shape for its age and restaurant use.
