-Pope-Gosser was well-regarded for producing high-quality American-made china that rivaled European imports. -Crafted in Coshocton, Ohio, during the 1940s, this piece features a creamy white porcelain base with a delicate garland of pink roses and fine gold trim along its scalloped edges and ornate handles. -This is the base for an oval/round vegetable dish (lid not included). It works perfectly as an open serving bowl for sides, salads, or fruit. Excellent condition,no chips, cracks or repairs. Slight wear on top gold rim consistent with age.
