Rare 7-inch square plate from the highly collectible Glidden Pottery "Menagerie" line. Designed by the award-winning Belgian-American designer Ernest Sohn. MCM tones of gray, yellow, and brown on a white glazed stoneware base. While the 5.5-inch canape version of this design is more common, this larger 7-inch variant is a scarcer find, perfect for use as a dessert or salad plate, or as a centerpiece for a Menagerie wall display. Wall hanger attached. Excellent condition, no chips or cracks.
