JOHN PEEL HORSE BRASS - Depicts famous 18th century English huntsman John Peel on horseback with hounds and hunting horn - Set in horseshoe design with "JOHN PEEL" lettering - From the folk song "D'ye ken John Peel" - Approx 2.75" brass diameter 2. 1933 SIXPENCE HORSE BRASS - Design based on 1933 British sixpence coin from King George V era - Reads "FID DEF SIX PENCE 1933" - Features rose, thistle, shamrock & leek — symbols of UK nations - FID DEF = Fidei Defensor, "Defender of the Faith" - Approx 2.5" brass diameter DETAILS: - Both are vintage cast brass, circa 1960s-1970s souvenir pieces - Mounted on black leather martingale/strap hangers with brass buckles - Great patina and detail.
