This beautiful antique piece is a fine porcelain covered vegetable serving dish. It features delicate, classical Rococo-style elements, detailed transfers or hand-painted pink floral swags/garlands, and heavily encrusted or brushed bright gold gilding on the handles, foot ring, and lid accents. It was manufactured by the famous Jean Pouyat Limoges (JPL) company in Limoges, France. No chips, cracks or crazing.
