Hello, I finally created my online shop name LG's Yesterdays Finds I've been considering selling my vintage finds for a while and have decided to start online. With retirement approaching, I’m looking for a new venture to keep me engaged and happy and feel like this may be the thing may do it.
This platter pattern name is Violette manufactured by Carl Schumann Porcelain Factory based in Arzerg, Bavaria, Germany. The marking on the back was primarily used from 1955 through 1970. This does have some wear of the gold trim and has written in a gold marker MNC 84 like it was given to someone in this year.
It's still beautiful and can be used for any cookie or cake serving.
