Founded by William Brunt Jr., the company operated out of East Liverpool, Ohio—widely recognized as the "Pottery Capital of the World" during the Victorian era.
The stamp features an American eagle perched atop a ribbon banner. This specific "Warranted Eagle" mark with the exact text layout was used by the company between 1877 and 1882.
